Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst with 1-2 years of direct investment banking experience. The role involves supporting transaction execution, financial modeling, and strategic advisory for clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to M&A, equity fundraising, and deal execution, working closely with senior bankers on high-impact transactions.

🚨 Important Note: This role is strictly for candidates with prior experience in investment banking. Candidates from audit, corporate finance, consulting, or other financial domains will NOT be considered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Modeling & Valuation

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for M&A, private equity, and debt transactions .
• Conduct in-depth valuation using DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis .

2. Industry & Market Research

• Perform in-depth industry research , market analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
• Prepare research reports and client presentations on sector trends and investment opportunities.

3. Pitch Books & Client Presentations

• Assist in preparing investment memorandums, pitch books, and investor presentations .
• Support senior team members in structuring transaction proposals.

4. Transaction Execution & Due Diligence

• Assist in deal execution, due diligence, and financial analysis to support ongoing transactions.
• Coordinate with clients, investors, and counterparties to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Manage data rooms and project timelines efficiently.

5. Client & Investor Coordination

• Support client interactions, investor communication, and deal structuring .
• Work closely with senior bankers to track live mandates and progress.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting .
• CFA/CA candidates preferred .

Investment Banking Experience (Mandatory):

• 1-2 years of experience in investment banking at a boutique, mid-market, or bulge bracket firm .
• Experience in M&A, private equity fundraising, or capital markets transactions is a must.

Technical Skills:

• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, comps, precedent transactions).

• Familiarity with financial databases like Tracxn, VCC Edge, or similar platforms is an advantage.

Analytical & Communication Skills:

• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information concisely.
